Beta Test - Mitsubishi L200 Pickup

"Masa" brings us an awesome creation, the Mitsubishi L200. It is by far, one of the best pickup trucks available for Rigs of Rods. It is very detailed, and has a very complex suspension. It even has locking differentials, which are an essential when it comes to off road racing! This truck is great for every occasion, whether its street driving, off roading, racing, or anything else your imagination allows you to do.

Beta Test - Bedford Rascal

Trampus9 amazed me again! He has made a very detailed microvan, which apparently has many aliases, from Vauxhall, to Suzuki, and to Bedford! In conclusion, it will be a very interesting and fun vehicle to drive, hopefully with many exciting versions!

Objects - Bus Station

With my improving SketchUp skills, I made a bus station for Rigs of Rods. It was made for a special "customer", but I tested it on another map anyways. It looks good, and is really nice on FPS. Check the pictures.

Modifications - Burnside Police

Based off of an 1980's NYPD Detective's car, I cleverly modified the Burnside by "Kitteh" into a custom cruiser. I gave it a teardrop police beacon in the windshield, and it also flashes too! It really has that "1980's detective" look, and sure drives like one. No plans for release, yet...

Beta Test - Iveco Daily

We always needed more European-vans in Rigs of Rods. With that need, Rigs of Rods Forum user "Trampus9" has created the well-known Iveco Daily - and many of them! They are decent vehicles. They have that "video-game" look to them, which is what I like in some vehicles. He made many versions, which include, but are not limited to: Minibus, van, kipper (dumptruck), firetruck, and even a monster-truck for you extreme off-roaders. The fact that he made several versions is awesome. Check the pictures.

Vehicles - Box5Diesel's Kenworth W900's

Yes, they are finally here! "Box5Diesel" finally released his Kenworth W900'S! They are great semi-trucks that come in multiple versions. These include a tilt-tray wrecker, a rotating-arm wrecker, and multiple semi-truck variations. They are good for every American Trucker occasion. They have the excellent "Box5Diesel" detail in them, and other new features. It even has the new slidenodes! This vehicle is great, go get it now!

Modifications - Custom Lightbars

With my passion for Google Sketchup and for lightbars, I take a couple requests for a couple of lightbars to put in-game for Rigs of Rods. One guy in particular, called "thatsnice" on the Rigs of Rods forums, requested that I light up his wrecker. With my great ability, I nicely made two lightbars for his towtrucks/wreckers.

Beta Test - MadMike's Terrain

In the world of hauling, rigging, and delivering (Well, in Rigs of Rod's world...) there comes the absolute need of driving semi's. Well, now we got ourselves a good map for rigging! Forum user "MadMike" created a terrain for every use. Hauling, rigging, and delivering. It has a bunch of neatly curved roads, alot of scenery, and of course, a whole courtyard contributing to the trucker's life! Forum user "dieselmastermind" has successfully created a warehouse/truck garage for the map, and it looks great! Pictures below.

Objects - Autoshop

Rigs of Rods is extremely customizable, such as building vehicles, terrains, buildings, and many more neat things. It has a category for everything, objects, trucks, e-e-everything! So, in conclusion, I used Google Sketchup 6 and made a repair shop so I could place it on North Saint Helens. Sure, Sketchup eats FPS, but this is a very good shop to take screenshots in. That's its main purpose, to look like a real shop. It even has a custom checkered floor, red rugs, and other scenery items to make it look good. And on top of that, nine posters of the best Rigs of Rods vehicles in the game. Check the pictures!

Beta Test - Toyota FJ40

It was the vehicle that popularized Japanese off-roading. It was the vehicle that took a new step in the 4x4 industry. It is, the Toyota FJ40. Rigs of Rods forum users "lilgti, ferrettank" and with the help of "Lifter" make this vehicle, and made it a legend. The node and beam chassis was covered by "lilgti" and is a good job. The submesh by "ferrettank" is accurate and detailed, and the suspension by "Lifter" is stunning! The vehicle is perfect for both off road and on road use. It even has a cooler in the back when you get thirsty! Check the pictures!

Beta Test - 1970's Mercedes O305

The Mercedes 0305 was a rear-engined bus produced in West Germany between 1967-1987. Luckily, Rigs of Rods forum member "Pedro" has created one of these for the game. In an addition to that luck, I got a private beta test of it. It is really fun! It is full of detail, and full of life. While driving the bus, I feel as if I am in cruising through the 1970's in Eastern Europe. That's how much detail this bus has. It includes opening doors, a multi-pattern destination board, and opening emergency exits (a first in Rigs of Rods). The bus really blew me away, and hopefully it will to you too if it gets released!

Welcome to My Blog!
